Penguins Against Cancer (PAC) is delighted to invite applications for The Simon Lau Pancreatic Cancer Research Award.

Simon was a talented vascular surgeon in training and a long-standing member of Guy’s Hospital Rugby Football Club. His warmth, integrity, and commitment to his patients and peers made a lasting impression on all who worked with him. Simon died from pancreatic cancer shortly before his 34th birthday.

This award has been created to support innovative research into pancreatic cancer—an area of urgent clinical need. Applications are now open to researchers and clinicians working in any area of pancreatic cancer research. the application forms and terms of reference are available on our website.

If interested, forms must be completed and returned by email (address is on the form) by midnight on Friday 26th September 2025. Our panel will then review the submissions.
