The Fergus Scholefield Paediatric Cancer Research Award - 2025

Penguins Against Cancer (PAC) is delighted to invite applications for The Fergus Scholefield Paediatric Cancer Research Award.


The award is for up to £5,000 and should contribute to a specific research project to combat cancer in children, adolescents and young adults; the application forms and terms of reference are available on our website.


Previous successful applications include:

2024: Institute of Cancer Research: Investigation of markers associated with Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) to derive novel therapies for Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumours (DSRCT)

2023: Institute of Cancer Research: Identifying therapeutic strategies to combat the aggressive MYOD1L122R mutation in paediatric Rhabdomyosarcoma


 If interested, forms must be completed and returned by email (address is on the form) by midnight on Friday 8th August 2025. Our panel will then review the submissions.
