The overnight ferry to St Malo arrived with the Penguin Peloton ready for another day of riding, two objectives today, meet the advance party and remember to ride on the right!
The support and good wishes experienced yesterday were appreciated by all the riders and to know the donations are continuing will spur them all on.
Thanks should also go to the support team accompanying those on the road, there are also three suspicious folk trying to blend in, watch out for the escouade de sherry.
The Penguin Peloton completed 141km from Guys Hospital Tower via Portsmouth to St Malo. The Saturday route will take in Mont St Michel to Granville, a further 109 km. The remaining two days will be The Normandy Beaches, Ouistreham and Portsmouth back to Guys Hospital, returning on Monday 26th 2025, the aim to raise £50,000 for Penguins Against Cancer.
Itinerary for today, first stop, Les Galettes, St Méloir-des-Ondes, then onto Brioche Doree, Mont St Michel, followed by Marie Blachére Boulangerie, Avranches; overnight stop Granville.
A fantastic effort which deserves support. Every penny counts, please DONATE, currently at 81% of target.
