GKTWRFC Auction & Mixer events

Thanks to Sanna, GKTWRC President, for letting us know about two recent events to raise funds for PAC.

Over the years a variety of GKTWRFC merchandise had accumulated in our stores. Therefore, we thought it would be a great opportunity to raise money for PAC by holding an auction for these items. We sold a variety of brand new pieces of clothing including old tour T shirts, jackets, jumpers and shorts. In total we raised £184 with our highest bid and most contested for item being a black Guinness shirt!

GKTWRFC hosted our annual mixer at Dover Castle Hostel, which allowed us to do a private hire, discounted drinks and extended opening hours. This night was a huge success, with all GKT clubs being invited to attend. This event was even extended to new freshers who had recently moved into student accommodation which was incredibly beneficial for recruitment and mingling and we want to continue this tradition and keep giving back to PAC through ticket sales. In total, we raised £268!
